Dolly Abbott, born Dorothea Concettina Bianca Maria Falcione in Boston, recalls summer
vacations driving through the mountains of New Hampshire with her family.  Her Dad, a music
conductor, would recount stories of  growing up in the mountains of Castel del Guidice in
Abruzzi, Italy.  He told how the beauty of the mountains sang it’s very own song.  Papa said you
did not have to hear an orchestra playing to feel the music, you could feel it in the beauty
surrounding you.  Music, he said, isn't just an audible occurrence; it was a feeling that could
“touch your very soul!”  As he gazed up at the mountains, you could see that he was experiencing
“the music”.

Many years later her father’s song came back to her as she gazed up at the beautiful mountains.
She felt she had to capture the song and share it with others.  Talking about New Hampshire she
said it was “A panorama of breath taking beauty – every road, every hill, every mountain, every
river, every cloud, every sunset, a majestic symphony of sight, a song captured through the
medium of photography!  God’s Gift to us!

Her portfolio contains the scenic beauty of New Hampshire as well as animals photographed in
their natural habitat.  Her love for the area shows through in her composition and wide selection
of photographs.  Recently photography from the Boston area has been added to her portfolio.

Her past credits in the artistic category have included Music Director at several churches in the
Boston area, as well as writing, producing and directing several musical drama’s.  Her current
project is writing and directing plays performed by prison inmates, for prison inmates, with a
focus on rehabilitation, restitution, responsibility and renewal!  “Let Freedom Ring” was
performed in December 2004 and January 2005 at Massachusetts Correctional Institution
Norfolk.

A University Administrator at Boston University, Dolly lives in Brockton MA with her husband,
David, a Prison Chaplain.  They hope to make Stark New Hampshire their permanent address
within the next several years.

Dolly’s desire is that others may hear the music through this Breath of Heaven and trusts others
will find peace, contentment and grace through God's majestic Handiwork!
